Steve Douty - Co-founder, President & CEO

Steve has been in the technology business for nearly 25 years. The first 15 years of his career were in telecom, IT and systems integration where he served at companies like GTE, IBM and AT&T. He broke into the Internet marketplace in 1996, when he joined Hotmail as VP of Marketing, Sales and Business Development. After Microsoft acquired Hotmail at the end of 1997, he became the director of business planning and media programming for MSN. At MSN, he was a key player in the conversion of MSN.com to a portal, the acquisition of LinkExchange, and the creation of Passport.

In mid-1999, Steve and two colleagues co-founded Octopus Software, the award-winning content integration platform that was eventually acquired by Ask Jeeves in 2001.

Steve has a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.

Steve Zagerman - Co-founder & Vice President, Product Development

Steve has over 20 years of experience designing, developing, and managing software products and services, focusing on startup and early-stage opportunities. He brings creative vision and a unique blend of capabilities to identify markets, develop strategies, and deliver best-of-breed customer-focused products and services.

Steve's former roles include Vice President of Product Development and Engineering at Ofoto, a Kodak company, where he built and led the development organization from the pre-launch startup phase through subsequent growth and acquisition by Kodak in 2001. Prior to joining SnapJot, Steve advised early-stage clients on business, product and services strategy.

Steve has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Lars Stenstedt - Vice President, Business Development

Lars has accumulated more than 20 years experience with technology firms and has held a variety of positions in sales, business development, marketing and engineering in the US and Japan. Lars is applying his unique background to identify and close on points of leverage to grow SnapJot's business while developing the ecosystem of supporting products and services.

Lars was formerly VP Business Development for Geoworks, where he managed partnerships with NTT DoCoMo, NEC, Mitsubishi, Nokia and other leading players in the wireless ecosystem. He was also previously VP Corporate Development for Access, the leading Japanese client software provider for wireless phones. Lars was most recently a Sales Director for Openwave Systems where he managed multi-million dollar agreements with leading US wireless carriers such as Cingular and Virgin Mobile USA. He also held senior management positions with Seagate in the 1980's and other small firms and startups.

Lars holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, with an emphasis on Technology Management.

Bob Zipp, Director

Bob Zipp is the Managing Partner of Amicus Capital. Bob has worked with scores of entrepreneurs to develop business plans, secure venture funding, complete business development arrangements, and achieve liquidity through acquisition or IPO.

Before co-founding Amicus Capital in 1998, Bob represented early stage technology companies as a partner at Venture Law Group and at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, both leading Silicon Valley law firms.
